Indonesian Anki or Mnemosyne (srs) Flashcard Deck
Indonesian Anki or Mnemosyne (srs) Flashcard Deck
Aug 05Hello!
I’ve been putting together a decent sized deck of Indonesian vocabulary flashcards for Spaced Repetition Software (SRS) users. It’s in the .mem format (Mnemosyne), but it’s easy enough to convert them into Anki cards as well.
There’s about 2,800 cards, mainly consisting of single words, but there are also a good few sentences as well. There are also a few duplicates, but that’s a blessing in my eyes. Memorising Indonesian vocabulary is not easy, so seeing the odd duplicate isn’t that burdensome, especially if it’s a word that is giving you a few problems.
The deck isn’t all mine. I downloaded a pre-existing one and edited it, putting in vocab from Assimil’s Indonesien sans peine, and Linguaphone’s Indonesian. I add about 20 or thirty new words a day, so I’ll update this every couple of months.
Anyway, I hope it helps.
Here it is - Indonesian Anki or Mnemosyne (srs) Flashcard Deck

Hey Jimmy-I m in the lesson 51 of Assimil and just starting with Linguahone, so this srs is very useful. Thanks a lot
If You don t mind me adding my 2 cents, the Bahasa indonesia course looks quite sound to me and its second part may be exactly what you are looking for to continue Your studies of indonesian. There is a lot of original indonesian and one can definetly add a lot of new vocabulary. It s available on Amazon
Hi Zdenek!
Language learning advice is always welcome here. I actually completed both the Assimil and Linguaphone courses a few months back. The problem now is that there doesn’t seem to be anything for low/mid intermediate learners. I’m struggling to find new stuff.
Hi Jimmy-
this is the book I mentioned in my last message :
http://www.amazon.com/Bahasa-Indonesia-Book-Introduction-Indonesian/dp/0945971575/ref=sr_1_6?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1316204632&sr=1-6
It may do the the trick
The book looks interesting. I’ll do some reading up on it.
Thanks a lot for the link
