Travel Gear Review – Platypus Soft Bottle
Strange Lands Rating 4/5 Before hitting the road 2 years ago, we bought 2 Platy Soft Bottles – a 2 litre, and a 1 litre. Truth be told, until we came to Indonesia we had no reason to use them. Water by the bottle was always available. Then again, we weren’t hiking or doing many outdoor activities at the time. On the few occasions we did go hiking, we came across a natural spring, but without a spare bottle (because we didn’t want to pack out our bags with empty bottles) we couldn’t contain any of it. The beauty of the Platy isn’t that it’s a water bottle; there are enough of those to go around. The benefit is that it is light and small. You can easily roll it up into a small bundle.
