Taking pictures of the Petronas Towers and Kuala Lumpur Skyline
Kuala Lumpur is everything Rachel and I love in a city. It’s seeped in culture and history but offers an exciting, cosmopolitan vibe for the modern-day traveler. Its monorail makes getting around the city a breeze. And we were almost never bothered by touts selling everything but the kitchen sink. As a keen photographer, I craved the idea of getting a decent picture of the sleek city skyline. Like many before me, I was especially interested in getting a shot with the spectacular Petronas Towers in. The first stop we made was the Kuala Lumpur tower. Our Week in Pictures – Week Twenty One

Going to Malaysia (which was sweet!), I lost my mp3 player. I was pissed off for all of 10 minutes and then I realised I could get an ipod. When we went to Kuala Lumpur I saw one for a reasonable price. I haven’t stopped playing on it since. I’ve got some very addictive games and some pretty useful applications as well. The most useful apps are language learning ones, especially the srs French and Indonesian flashcard stuff. We spent most of our holiday on the island of Langkwai. It was great, exactly what we wanted. We had a...
